Here’s a review of the financial help we can offer you as a student of The Corby Sixth Form if you’re aged 19 or over…
Types of Support
If you are aged 19 or over you can apply for this government loan if this is not your first Level 3 qualification. The amount is paid directly to The Corby Sixth Form on your behalf. You’ll only need to start repaying the loan after you’ve completed your course and you’re earning more than £27,295 per year.
You may be able to receive help towards your essential course costs. The amount you receive will depend on your household income.
If you’re a parent aged 16 to 19, the government’s Care to Learn scheme could pay up to £160 per child per week towards your childcare and travel costs while you’re learning. If you are aged 20+ you can apply for help towards childcare through the Adult Support Fund.
