The Corby Sixth Form will open for our first year of students in September 2023.

When can I apply?

Applications will open in October 2022.

Where are you located?

Our campus is currently under construction but we will be located in the town centre of Corby.

What travel options are available?

For information on travelling to our campus please visit here.

What subjects do you offer?

We offer a wide range of A Levels and Diplomas. Visit here for a full list.

Do you offer financial support?

Yes! For a full breakdown of our financial support options, please visit here.

I am away for the enrolment days, am I able to enrol at a later date?

Our enrolment days are Friday 25th or Tuesday 29th August. If you are not able to make either of these days, there will be some opportunities for an alternative appointment. Details will be in your enrolment letter/email.

Can I change my subjects?

You will only make your firm subject choices in discussion with a tutor during enrolment. There will be the option to change your choices during the first few weeks of term, but only if there is capacity and you meet the entry requirements.

Can I take subjects that I haven’t taken at GCSE?

Yes – so long as you meet the entry requirements. For example, you could take History or Geography without GCSEs in these subjects.

Should I bring my own laptop/tablet to lessons?

This is entirely up to you. If you bring your own device, it is at your own risk. Students do often opt to bring their own laptop as it helps them to keep and organise their notes.

What time does the school day start?

Morning registration is at 9.00am most days.

How long is the school day?

Typically, you’ll start at 9.00am and, on a full day, finish at 3.45pm.

Would I be able to leave site when I don’t have any lessons?

You are able to self-manage your study time as you see fit, on or off site. However, we do expect that you study for at least five hours per subject outside of class.

Is there a dress code?

There is a dress code but, compared to a school uniform, it is very relaxed.
